Rome 2 Ancestral Update.

I do as the instructions on how to get the update says on the website itself but when i click the beta tab i cannot see * Ancestral * there at all. All i can see is Patch 16 - 19. Anyone know how to get it?

it comes with the new rotr patch dude the beta is gone now. my game freezes all the time now ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying

So after freshly downloading the game, I opted into steam betas and then followed the instructions to download the ancestral patch. Unable to find it, I downloaded patch 19. Nothing changed. I then when back to Rome 2 betas tab and opted out of all beta. Rome 2 started a 1.6GB download. Once completed I reloaded the game with no mods and it worked fine. Ancestral patch was already applied to base game.

TLDR; Ancestral patch is applied to base game now. Only download patch 19 if you dislike the Ancestral update to rollback the game.

You don't have to go to the steam betas, the ancestral patch is already part of the game and its freeYo udont need ROTR
