But I do like to recommend this. An animated short film of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.

A great video, i have not yet read the books of Dr Raoul Mclaughlin, but they have catched my interest in the world of antiquity outside of Rome.
If you are suggesting that my college showed me this video as literal historical fact, then no they did not, and I am aware that this is a "reletively" fictionalized version of the history. (Julius Caesar is actually Shakespeare's more accurate historical story compared to Richard III)
Infact what I did in my college was do an assignment on researching three different accounts, such as Plutarch's, on the details of the assassination of Julius Caesar.
Ah, then I will indulge myself. Heck I wished I already know about this video series, it might have helped alot in my classes.

To be honest, i had a college course that is very similiar to his video series, each lesson of the course consiting of 90 minutes, about 20 lessons...just about roman empererors post Caesar...
But than again I'm in a europaen masters program so i guess they have to be better than a couple of youtube vids otherwise they would be pretty pointless
That being said, the video you linked is great!
Oh i know that, it's just that the creator of the video and the channel focuses a lot on the outside of Roman borders. I want to post some links but i don't want to look like i'm spamming videos. But i will say that he has done one on the Roman relationship between the Ireland and Rome, and another one, a two part video about the Kushite Kingdom, and the Roman explorers going to the south of Meroe after their war against them.
EDIT: I'v yet to see the movie you're talking about, but it's just a Chinese movie that screws history for the sake of entertainment. Just like Hollywood!
