DEI supply ships?

How do I get a supply ship in my fleet so I can move my transports across water? I can't seem to find any way to do it.

Troops use their own transport ships to ferry across bodies of water, if you are backing a invasion up with a military fleet, then normally I use one supply unit, the rest a mixture of assault and light/heavy projectile based ships. Never had a problem with supply.

Also, dependent on tech and the type of port, e.g millitary that you are basing part of your naval forces out, you can recruit a supply unit.

Try that out, should work for you hehe.

But I can't recruit a supply ship. That's my problem, it's not appearing in my recruitment list. I'm playing as the Iceni and I'm trying to invade Ireland fyi.

i think iceni dont have supply ships

Ah ok, well never played as Iceni on a DeI playthrough tbh, but I would doubt that the Iceni would need supplies, would you not forage off the land?, and Ireland is only a short hop away from the UK so hit it quickly in spring, and you would not need much in the way of supplies.

The supply chain afaik is more for the organised military factions.
