Rome 2 campaigns
Just finished the Grand Campaign, and was wondering what campaign to play next. There are quite a few other campaigns, but there is no decription to them at all. I tried to google them but found no coherent info, describing and comparing all the campaigns in Rome 2. So, does anyone have a link somewhere where all the campaigns in Rome 2 are compared and described, or even better, can someone please do it right here? Thank you

No guide I'm aware of, but my 2 cents would be to play any of the DLC campaigns next, any and all of them are better than the GC.

Ok thanks, that sounds hopeful as the GC was a bit boring and way too easy. I was wondering, which is the longest campaign (turns)? Also I didn't like the way time was sped up in the GC, I would like to have at least 4 turns per year, or even more like in Shogun 2: Fots. Are some campaigns like that?

Antar, To answer a few of your questions:

> I have attached links to discussion threads by Welsh Dragon where he summarizes the campaigns.
> The GC difficulty can be increased with change in settings for campaign and battle, as well as addition of mods that increase AI agressiveness and so forth.
> Longest campaign: Usually GC, but I suppose that you could run the Augustus campaign just as long, depending on your objective. If you are into complex diplomacy issues, with alliances, satrapies, and client states, then they will go longer.
> Try Wrath of Sparta campaign, I believe that you will like it.
> There are several 4 turn per year mods for GC in the workshop. Example attached below.

Thanks a lot Harper, definitely helpful. I don't want to mod the game just yet, but I'll save the links for later.

Edit: Really like the sound of the Wrath of Sparta DLC

Anyone with access to steam and this forum necessarily has internet access, which means anyone could have looked up this multi page spam you posted Harper, and likely in a more readable format.

The GC is tedium personified. And yes turn time is much better handled in all of the DLC campaigns. You can read about them in the walls of text above that Harper spammed out, pick the one among them that interests you and enjoy, as I said previously, they're all infintitely better than the GC.
