Erome 2 total war wont start

I get a message an error has occured. the game is already running ? wtf is going on? I downloaded the whole game 2 times and nothing. I need help!

check your task-manager, maybe there is rome 2 running.

nope nothing everytime I start it the box says exwecuting and then it says intallation error. your game is already executing and thats it. nothing

Restart your computer and when trying to start the game be patient and let it come up

I have tried to start the computer 20 times and just reinstalled the whole game again. same problem. I cant believe steam does not help at all???? just read the forums is not good customer service. we bought this games from them they should respond. I spend 60 dollars here and I cant play my game! HELP!!!

1-%appdata% and go to ur save files and delete it make a copy a of ur save if u wanna keep it
2- change the language to french(or any) and download the 1gb update then get it back to english
(thats all the fixes ik for rome 2 ) or maybe ur windows has missing files ?

my windows is updated. doing the language fix u told me. I can play shogun etc.. so its not windows.

i remember there was some files that rome 2 needs to make it start and the only fix was a program that installs them for u that ur windows might be missing (cant remember its name )

i think your problem is because the new patch, my rome is broken like yours and still have no solution :/
