Having to use W and S same time to drop down?

I have reached a point in the game where using the keyboard i cant get farther because you cant keep moving forward and use S W to drop down at the same time preventing me from making a needed jump.

That doesn't make much sense. Maybe it's because you remapped the keys? I think the default jump button is the space, so that would make pressing s and space to drop, which have more sense.

i currently have W to jump and Space for up but i still have to use W and S to drop down

Lol uhm yeah i like the wasd keybindings but i guess it doesnt work to nicely with this game can my ps3 control work with this game?

If you're using keyboard, I recommend using arrow keys + ZXCASD for this game, which is how I play it.

Listen to Groucho, he knows what he says. I usually only see the arrow keys + zxcasd as the default layout in japanese indie games, like Ether Vapor, but once you get accustomed to it, it's pretty comfortable, and you don't have to do weird things with the hands.

Another scheme that's useful is just all letter keys -- something like (some subset of) QWEASDZXC and UIOJKLM<>. (Well, not exactly all letter keys, but you get my point.) I haven't used this one in years, though -- dunno how susceptible it is to ghosting.
