The dude seemed pretty pissed off, he might have had a heart attack (high blood pressure can do that).
Actually, AvP created its own franchise bringing the two separate franchises together... before that, they were two separate franchises and still largely are.
Predator appears in none of the Alien films prior to AvP, which again, is its own franchise and is not actually considered a part of the Alien or Predator franchises.
People notice obvious troll.
People expend a lot of effort pointing out that troll is a troll, effectively feeding troll for 6 pages and counting.
People are not very smart.
People should get out more.
I would like to correct these misconceptions here and state that (as Disney/Fox/Marvel have made very clear regardless of how people feel about it) the Alien, Predator, Alien vs. Predator, and Prometheus franchises are officially one and the same major franchise set in the same fictional universe (or multiverse if you take into account works like Aliens: Earth War which operates on a separate timeline from the main canon based on the twelve movies) which can simply be summarized as the Alien/Predator franchise/universe or the relatively popular term "Xenoverse". Anyway, that being said, there is no problem with including Predator in the world of Alien: Isolation because of said shared universe, and I would have liked to see some sort of reference to it in the game, but at the same time, this game chose to focus on a video game experience based on the first two Alien films, and there is nothing wrong with solo stories in this shared universe.
Hypocrisy on both counts. Way to go bud!
That having been said I for one think they did a really good job with this game in capturing the original flavor and feel of the first Alien movie and I am all for more games like this being made and produced. Just my opinion. Stay safe and try not to have any alien babies mates. lol
That's a bit incorrect though, as the popularity of AVP arose back around 1989 when the concept of a shared universe was first established by Dark Horse Comics and incorporated into the movie universe (such as Predator 2 from 1990) and was subsequently expanded upon to even more success and resulting in the 1999 video game classic you mentioned and eventually even the actual movies themselves.
Will see you then bud!
