The first 2 Joe's have re-spawned...in the first big open area with the planet.
Anyway after the third time up to that area I am rather disgusted and going to search for a save game somewhere just after the return elevator ride.
Holychair: I do not think it is a lag problem per se I think my new PC build is speeding up the scrolling of the numbers in the minigames. (I have a 4G connection.)
Wispartan: The Joe's are not the problem per se. I said that because I did not think they would re-spawn once killed.
Will keep an eye out for others who may have the weird problem.
Thanks for your advice.
Bill
Will try your ideas and see what happens.
Thanks,
Bill
I have switched out the fancy $600.00 140hz monitor for a standard one but this time when getting back I had the same basic problems (mostly):
The bottom mini game instructions not readable, the E key does not seem to really do anything, no amount of spamming, or lining up the numbers seems to work - 1st console left. The numbers scrolling seemed to be slower this time, still no luck.
But I have just given up this level all together. Six times is enough for me to suffer through.
I will find a save game site and try not to lose to much ground.
I think my first try through when the Objectives were not showing up is because I had skipped going upstairs at the start. This last time I followed in order and the scripted words and Objective changes happened like normal.
So be careful of to much running around like a sacred rabbit. I have enjoyed the game up till this section. I will find a way forward.
About where I said the word "null". That may be incorrect as in the game the word/letters is "nul"
So strike that thought.
Take care,
Bill
my english is not perfect, sorry. So I try to get you right, first.
This is the game were 4 white vertical colums of numbers on a green background are running up and down. Each colum has one line in bold letters. And there are two white horizontal lines you can move by cursors. Is that correct?
is this the quite cryptical game with black lettering on grey background? With the move buttons you can only adust a pair of numbers in the top row, counting up or down?
@holy: Per balancing nul game: I have been matching the bottom left right numbers by applying those numbers to the top left and right same sides...I saw that on a YT video...does not work for me maybe because I jumped ahead to that terminal without solving the first one???
@Snow: "Is that correct?" Yes...
Me: Also on the game with the blocks on letters/numbers I can get the top one to "stick" or be right but then when trying to get the second one the first one will start scrolling again. Is there a timer function involved there?
Thanks all!!!
"...Just run then. You may or may not get grabbed by an Android on the way but what does it matter? You can start sprinting at the reception, do all the things you need to and get back to the reception without ever needing to stop. Except when waiting for that elevator.
You won't even need to do those 3 mini games because that one Android won't even have a chance to turn off Samuels communication."
So what does he mean by "You won't even need to do those 3 mini games because that one Android won't even have a chance to turn off Samuels communication."
I thought you had to complete the 3 games to complete that Objective...Remember I had walked all the way back to the Reception area and the Objective was still highlighted. So what gives??? can you bypass the Obj's or not? So confused again.
When the number is in the bracket (do not even need to be covered 100%), press "E" for confirmation. The row will stop then and you move to the next. You cannot miss a number, the rows will constantly swing up und down, you will have to wait until they return.
And yes, the 3 minigames have to be done. Otherwise this part of the mission is not completed and you miss the next one >> escape from Seegson Communications.
But the minigames at each terminal are assigned randomly. If you hit one game you do not like for some reason, simply press "Q" to leave and re-enter the terminal. In 90% you have another of those games to solve.
I did that in the cafeteria of the Server Farm and at the Reactor Core, so it seems to work at all terminals in Sevastopol.
I will try to do that and see what happens for sure. So now by "Comm Station" that is the room with the 3 mini games and the locked room nearby - which I cannot get into.
So does the Joe go down there to lock that room up? And in there is where you go to contact Samuels via a terminal?
That process sounds more exciting than the 3 games one. After the Joe does that does he migrate back to his station further back up the corridor? I was standing there one time and he grabbed me from behind I did not hear anything coming.
On my play level I have to deal with 3 Joe's.
Thanks,
Bill
