Can the Alien hear me through my mic.

On the console versions of the game, the Alien can hear you through your Kinect/ Sony camera thing. Can the Alien hear me through my pc mic?

On the console (at least PS4) you also have the option to disable that feature. If there is no such option in the PC version I would say its save to assume that feature isn't in it.

I've experienced moments I thought it heard me, but I've also seen some noisy streamers on twitch NOT affect their gameplay with their loud mouths. So, I'm going to say confirmed only on consoles, and either hidden or non existent on pc.
