Why doesn't the stun baton work anymore?

My stun baton isn't stunning Working Joe's anymore. Why?

the joes wearing hazmat suits are unnafected by it unfortunately. Your best bet is the bolt gun (1-shots them with a headshot).
Alternatively for groups of hazmat joes i find a single pipe bomb followed by a shotgun shot to the face deals with them nicely.

i belive you can stun haz-mat joes with the stun baton by aiming at there face, don't quote me on that tho xD

No. A stun to the face doesn't do anything. I'm done. Can't do this bit of the game with no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns.

heh, i've never tried to baton them in the face to be honest. My favourite go-to plan was rounding them up in a bunch and pipe bombing them (probably my favourite device besides the noisemaker). I tended to have terrible luck being grabbed whenever i tried to baton the normal joes.

as Matthias said, they are very easy to outrun, i remember my time in there i think i only killed 2 of them, and played tag with the rest, fun times :)

It takes two pipe bombs to kill a hazmat joe (never tested on the normal joes, so not sure how they fare on them).

Your best bet is to lure them to one side of the area and then run like hell to the other side, quickly access whatever computers/hacking/whatever you need to do.
There's some handy vents at both the left and right server sides that you can slip into. I had to resort to this tactic due to running out of bombs

Got the attention of them all by either luring them into a group or using the sound emitter and using 2 pipes to take them all out.

I know exactly what part of the game you are in, it's tough and it takes a lot of patience but it is possible.

Heck, I did it with one pipe bomb, you just need to make sure you get them all in a crowd following you and nail them with it, you won't kill them all but the ones that are left will be easily killed with a wrench if you sneak up on them after they leave you alone.

Seriously, it's a hard game but it is never impossible, ever.

well, the AI Core is the part where you just sneak....
and you only have to activate 1 bank of those core databanks...
just run in it, press all the buttons in that library, and wooch right in the tunnel.

worked pretty fine for me.

Did it...by cheating. I only had one pipe bomb and not enough parts to make more and one pipe bomb isn't enough to kill one Hazmat Joe let alone a group of them so I used Cheat Engine for infinite bombs, spammed the b'stards, was very enjoyable. Not cheating now though - just for that one time only.
