Mission 6 Glitch

Hi everybody,

I'm on mission 6 right at the beginning. There seems to be a glitch in the middle room that i can't turn on the cooling system to get the cooling part for the other room. I've tried reloading saves i've tried calling ol' mate (The alien) to walk around n maybe it'll unglitch it n some other things to. Any ideas/anyone else had this problem?

I realised this was a glitch when i walked around the area for 15 mins, couldnt see a rewire or anything and looked up a walkthrough where they just turn it on.

Did u activate it at the computer?

I got it!
Restart the mission, take graphic down, enable cooling system, graphics take up again, ready!

Can you offer a little more detail as to the actual process that worked. I cannot get the canisters to "flash color" or to be activated in any way. I tried to "take graphic down" did not work...

So i did activate it at the computer and still didnt work. I did end up getting it to work by restarting my comp, changing the graphic settings, and then it worked. Dont ask me why or how it just did lol.

I'm ok with magic being the reason. However what graphical settings? and what was it originally?

dougie has a point, which graphics need to be lowered?

Late to the party on this post, but the graphic setting to change is the "Level of detail" setting. At least that is what did it for me. I tried changing the OS and in game resolution but it was changing the "Level of detail" that fixed this Mission 6 issue for me.

My brothaz, well good to finally know. I just ended up downloading a file that had all levels and skipping.

Yes, this works, lower Level of detail to low, go to the Terminal in the Nurse's Station, activate the cooloing system and hey presto, the tubes should be flashing gold and you can now progress xD

P.s. Don't forget to up your detail level afterward...

Maybe in the meantime the devs fixed the issue, however when I opened the computer and pressed E when Activate Cooling is selected then I got those 4 flashing without switching graphics (all maxed)
