Alien: Isolation
The Ending is ridiculous... *SPOILERS**
Aliens walking around in Space??? They all just stand there and grab for you at the same time?
Please...

I would of thought a much better ending would be an alien chest buster coming out of you and then the credits...
I thought rippley was infected because the aliens didnt attack me when I was escaping the hive...

I can't help but feel a little disappointed, but overall the ending wasnt too bad I guess - it just could of been much better if only rippley was brutally chest busted when she was eating a meal with her rescuers.

Also not to mention there is NO QUEEN !!!!
In movie "Aliens" employee of company tells Ripley about her doughter (Amanda). Amanda will die in age 66. So she will not chest busted. I understand your dissappointing, coz aliens in open space was really wierd...

they can surgically remove chestbursters without killing the patient, so thats not an argument for why she cant be impregnated. I've hypothesed that ripley was facehugged by a royal facehugger and the xenomorphs were trying to get the queen back.

Also, space isnt something that just sucks you away from what you are on. xenomorphs can climb on walls so why can't they survive in space? Their blood is different, they have an exoskeleton, and have pressurized bodies, so basically they naturally form a space suit.

Thx for explanation bro! Really.
I guess they could survive in space, I wasnt thinking of the Aliens movie where the queen hitched a ride on the space craft at the end.

But still all these eggs and the lack of a queen is disappointing.

That is left open for the player. some thing the queen is there, just not seen, others say that its all egg morphing.
Not to mention the magical gravity fields.

Pressurised bodies?
Well hey if we're making **** up I say they have laser mouths powered by nuclear fusion reactors in their ovaries.

Moving in a zero g vacuum is entirely different from moving in a 1g atmosphere. They could survive in space, and they could grip onto a surface, but that says NOTHING about them being able to move properly. They are used to an atmosphere and gravity, and borne from humans tailored to it. To have them operate in space without any trouble whatsoever is completely ridiculous.

They do have pressurised bodies. thats a defense mechinism, shooting them makes their blood squirt out possibly killing the attacker. It is a legitimate thing.

Their legs are meant designed to allow them to walk on all fours just as well as on two legs. So crawling in zero g is super easy because none of the limbs are lose, they didnt ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ swim they ran along the docking clamp. Xenomorphs have been shown to be able to climb on walls like a bug, as in microhair type thing that grips surfaces, so its like a spider climbing on your wall, cept bigger so climbing on any surface is easy and thus they aren't moving in zero g, they are moving like they have magnetic boots in a sense.

And they do have problems, when ejected they fly of into space just like anything else would.

Newsflash: You shoot a human at close range and their blood will splatter over you too.
Moreover high blood pressure has absolutely nothing to do with having a "pressurised body" which they don't because they take in air.

That is completely irrelevant. Without gravity you WILL move differently whether you can grip a surface or not. Space is not an environment they are accustomed to or comfortable in, and every single time an alien has been faced with the prospect of going into space it's made it clear it would really rather not.

Thats completely different. In the original alien, when they attempt to surgically remove the facehugger, its blood litterally squirts out. Its pressurized. When you shoot someone, the bullet is putting energy into the blood and tissue and forcing it to move.

You dont take into account artifical gravity, which this is a scifi game, so space physics, they can make panels and use machines to create artificial gravity fields. Both the ship and station have them, thats why its not a giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ring. .

Again, high blood pressure =! "pressurised body".
You're likely making every biologist who reads this cry. Stop it.

There wouldn't be aritificial gravity on the outside of the bloody station.

Why not? its got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ platforms, if they can make gravity fields anywhere they want, they not on the platforms outside so people don't have to worry about their magnetic boots giving out and them flying out into space?

Because it would be unecesarry, and expensive, and overly complicated (which way is "up"?), and impossible on a docking clamp unless you actively want to **** with every ship that attaches itself to it, and is never, ever demonstrated.

We are talking about a science fiction world where space aliens impregnate people and cause a snake to burst from their chest, which then grows into a 8 foot tall monster with 2 sets of jaws. You seriously think that just because its impractical for real people, that FICTION cannot do it? Thats the point of fiction to do something that cannot be done now. No one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about Star Wars's space fighting even though that is entirelly impractical in every way, lasers wouldnt be good because you have to focus on the target to melt the hull. Small fighters would have trouble manuvering because manuvering jets like we have now would be vunerable and ineffective at high speeds. Missiles are enterly useless so unless everyone wants to use nuclear warheards or magical light torpedos like Star Trek, you are really only left with ballistics. which is a bad idea, because then you risk a friendly ship of being hit later on. No one really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cares about that, but the second a giant black alien wants to walk outside of a space station suddenly its problem?!

The problem is that these aliens are out of context according to the original aliens films its based on. Usually when an alien is spaced, its gone - Not walking around in space.
Also its reasonable to assume that the space suit has magnetic boots, aliens don't.
Actually, the first alien was still able to grab onto the ship and try to climb into the thruster in the first movie. It didn't die until she turned on the thrusters. So yeah i don't see the problem with them walking around outside the station.

People like him have no imagination it seems, they want to be taken by the hand by the lore itself in any given situation, and i think that's kinda sad. There must be some freedom of imagination to keep the myth alive...well at least for me.

On a sidenote they are doing the same error over and over again, underestimating the "perfect organism".

Also in this particular situation more emphasize should be given to the "mechanic" part of "bio-mechanic" me thinks, but i'm really not an expert on that matter lol
pssst guys, it's a game... In Space... The whole fear of Alien was not knowing about them... Just enjoy the game :)
