the aliens in space didn't bother me so much, it's been shown in the first 2 films that the alien can survive a short amount of time in space at least. some people get way too nitpicky about lore and cannon, it's a game based on a movie, and the nature of the alien seems to change from movie to movie anyway.
it's the narrative void that's more of an issue than aliens in space, for me anyway.
good game overall, but yeah the ending was a big WTF?
Duno if she is infested or dreaming, how will the "realtionship" with the WYcorporation evolve, she will die at old age,but knows about the alien, how will she be silenced for good for nearly 42 years? Burke in the second movies didn`t look to happy when talking about her. Whats up with the Queen, did she get on board the Torrens?
I got a little bored towards the end anyway, but then I did explore every tiny nook and cranny of Sevastapol.
But, the majority of the game is superb, and on the Oculus it's really something, so I tend to forgive these end game issues.
Ah thanks, I missed that. It's not a great ending, but I guess it works well enough for the game.
And anyway, the game is excellent in nearly all other areas.
There's facehuggers, lots of them. But if you owned the game you'd know that.
Look up "Alien - Coccon scene" - Explains how drones make eggs.
There is 2 ways, evolution as in a drone molts to a Preatorian, the the Preatorian uses "Royal Jelly" to grow to a queen. Or drones harvest humans and "melt" them down to eggs, the first will be a "Royal Egg" with a Royal Facehugger (Seen in Alien 3). Roayl facehuggers have multiple embreos inside them, allowing a queen to be made and some drones to continue the expansion of the hive.
What a stupid thing to say, what's to say he doesn't own it on a console (Like I do)...
Xenomorphs do not require oxygen so space walking is perfectly fine. As for the holding on to the ship, if they are released from the ship with a large vacuum (Alien 1 and the queen from Aliens) then they have no chance to hold on, but say they are in a part of the ship that has already had all oxygen removed and has a clean opening to space, it's still fine. They would traverse a ship in space like they would a building on the ground.
So as stupid as it sounds to you, it's very well within the species capabilities.
Why are you people always so gullible?
