Please help me open this mystery loot locker. I've gone through all the codes given in all the logs but none of them work.
Please help me open this locker with a ♥♥♥♥-ton of items in it. Its located in the room with Log #146. The room is located in the Spaceflight Terminal between the Baggage Claim area and the Primary Airlock that you use to re-enter the station after your second EVA off the station (I forget what mission sorry). I think the code for the locker is written in Log #091 but it doesn't give a specific keypad number it is just marked that it has a keycode.

Please see links below for screen shots of the locker and it's location on the map.

Note: You can only get into this room after Mission 16 after you get the Ion Torch upgrade. It contains the body of Mike Tanaka as mentioend in Log #146.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Having the same issue. Sadly, I'm not finding any pictures, or notes nearby with a number scrawled on that works. Any luck since your original post?

Try 0340, not sure, but i found this code at the beginning of the game, and didn't saw any locker to use it...

we have been having a discussion about this in another thread and we have come to the conclusion, we must have missed a log somewhere with the code in it.
0340, is for a room in the very first section you get to, with the model of the space station, its in the corner behind your left shoulder when you are looking at the model :-)

here is the other thread, where me and another guy are discussing this problem :-)

That code opened a storeroom just down the hall. In the middle of a place with giant doors on each side.

In my game it was 2931. But it might be random across playthroughs.

it's never random

2931 worked. Thank you very much. But the bigger question is how did you even come up with this number? I hope not trial and error.

I have a macro gaming keyboard, so I made a program to generate macros... Then I could record video of the game while my macro was inputting codes automatically. At least it wasn't 9976 or something - since I started at 0000.

That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. All my macro keyboard does is change the function of the right mouse button exactly during a moment when I actually need to default right click. Nice work.

Mister macro wizard, that is incredibly clever and genius! Although I still wonder how one finds the code normally without "cheating".

I think I know how this code is obtained.

Log #149 is given out by non-hostile humans when Ripley tells them that the creature is near. It is supposed to speak of a "Transit office code", which is probably this one.

Can anyone who has Log #149 confirm this?
cmicroc Oct 24, 2014 @ 10:35am
It is definitely nothing to do with log #149, this is given by a friendly and unlocks a nearby security office in one of the transit areas (cant remember which off the top of my head).

However going back and looking at log #091 there is clearly some sort of hidden message in there...

The sub-title of that message is "unknown number"

But I can still see no way of getting the code 2931 out of it...

Does any one have the full set of ID Tags yet? Is it somebodies staff ID?
none of the staff id numbers are 2931 or 1392
