Cant Fire Revolver (PC)

For some reason I cant fire the damn revolver. Every time I hit my left mouse button it strikes with the wrench I used. Even when I hit the Number 1 to select revolver it doesnt work. I do have the revolver and it shows on the lower left of the screen with 18 rounds available but I cant get it to fire. Any help would be appreciated.

I actually used it a lot before I got a 'better' weapon. Don't want to add spoilers here.

Hold F to reload.

I am also having this problem. I am holding to aim. The crosshair comes up and centers. I hold that in, hit LMB wrench is what ends up swinging.

You don't let go of right mouse button while firing.

Hold right, gun comes up, click left WHILE holding right mouse.... bang!
