Constantly on fire glitch

Anyone else had this? its massively frustrating because you can barely see your motion tracker. My hands and im guessing the rest of amanda are constantly burning but not taking damage.

yes i had the same thing after a couple of saves and game restart back to normal

Did anyone find a solution to this? Because after they patched it I have the same problem. It is making it extremely difficult to play. It never did this before.

There was no patch. Everything loaded was for DLC.

Have to necro this cause this is still somehow not patched in 2021 and there are no other treads since, is this something super rare glitch they wont bother looking into. I made the mistake thinking respawning would fix it so went ahead and save. Big mistake im still on fire after loading how/why is that something to be included into save state atleast they fixed soft lock if you saved the moment the alien jumped down the vent next to you it wont load along so why cant they do similiar to on fire effect?

While it makes it next to imposible see motion tracker it do trivialyze flashlight as your now a living torch wherever you go. Like previus stated it wont damage her but she occasionally scream as if taking damage randomly

Two people report this issue, but no details about the steps leading up to what might have caused it to happen.

This is why they couldn't figure it out.

Instead of loading current or previous save, load the chapter start, and be happy with that.

I just experienced it and it is fairly easy to document. The second time you are in Lorenz Systech Spire, when you come from the transit station and would turn left towards the large lobby, you turn right instead and go into the room. There will be an explosion, and the android grabs you, I stayed on fire afterwards. It probably doesn't happen every time but it is close to a save point, so it should be quite easily reproducible if someone were inclined to fix it.

There seem to be several other places in the game where you can catch it, this one was mine.

I saw that once but was very funny and it didn't annoyed me.... but I think that I died shortly later and when loading the game all was fine again.
