audio tapes wont play
so audio tapes wont play for me (i see the tape spindle move slightly and then it stops with a click) as well as the audio log will not play on the first monitor near the model of the ship. also i get no sound effects when using the wrench to open a sealed door - i have watched an LP of someone using the wrench and I am missing sound.

I read somewhere removing realtek drivers fixed an issue with death sounds so i did that and it has not helped. as anyone else experienced these issues?

problem solved. verified the steam cache and it found 4 corrupt files. those are downloaded now and the missing audio is back.
