Stuck when trying to re-wire
I've encountered a problem where I get stuck when trying to rewire. I cannot press "Q" to exit rewiring. Nothing works. So I had to restart the game. Are there any known fixes for this?

I had to restart the game... not that fun when you have played for quite some time since the last save point... why there are save points in a PC game I am still trying to figure out...

I've encountered same problem in 17 mission.
Restarting game helps.

I had this problem on a computer terminal. It appears the game has some glitches with the key bindings.
If you change the key binding for exit, you should be able to then press the new bound key to exit the terminal or rewire. Then you can change the key binding back to what it was. Which will then work as normal.......because apparently nobody play tested this game.

changing the keybinds doesnt work for fixing this problem. tried changing them to different keys and still could not exit the rewire point. It also happens nearly everytime i access a rewire.

I can confirm this - rebinding the keys do not work.

I use the right-side of the keyboard to play and have been using the 'Home' button to 'exit' since the start. I never had an issue quitting out of a ReWire or any other interraction. =s

It´s been over a year, and this game still had some pretty nasty/game-breaking glitches that were never even bothered to fix, with more than time enough passed to have patched it.
It would be cool, since more and more people still purchase the game, while on very economically accessible sales - to email the company about this. And maybe we can get them to listen to us. Companies like Square Enix are hugely known for taking in their costumer's feedback.
For now, what you can do, is trying to lower ALL resolution options, to the lowest possible, before proceeding in areas or executing tasks that are glitching.
That helped me a few times when I got stuck due to in-game malfunctions.

I have given up on finishing the game due to all glitches and bugs and will most likely never buy anything from this company again.

Your problem is most likely in your hardware... I've had several playthroughs with few if any problems.

This problem is however a known bug that it doesn't seem like they're going to fix. Annoying!

No, I experienced this problem several times through my first playthrough and the wierd thing was it seemed a bit worse through the second. I love the game so it's never been that big an issue but regardless.
