Restarting game helps.
If you change the key binding for exit, you should be able to then press the new bound key to exit the terminal or rewire. Then you can change the key binding back to what it was. Which will then work as normal.......because apparently nobody play tested this game.
I can confirm this - rebinding the keys do not work.
nothing but quitting or loading save game helps. I get stuck all the time when using re-wire consoles. idiotic bug....
It would be cool, since more and more people still purchase the game, while on very economically accessible sales - to email the company about this. And maybe we can get them to listen to us. Companies like Square Enix are hugely known for taking in their costumer's feedback.
For now, what you can do, is trying to lower ALL resolution options, to the lowest possible, before proceeding in areas or executing tasks that are glitching.
That helped me a few times when I got stuck due to in-game malfunctions.
This problem is however a known bug that it doesn't seem like they're going to fix. Annoying!
'few' means there are have problem least 1
