*Spoilers* Reactor core Where is this damn item?

So spoilers cause where this item is meant to be is a very spoilerific area.









So the nest you find (questions on this perhaps when I finish the game) it's marked on the map that there is an item in the corner of the room where you power up the first reactor (Alpha) just when you realise you've woken up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

but I've looked all over that desk, searched the body hanging from the roof and all the shelves, I cant find anything to pick up.

it's annoying the hell out of me. Anyone know what it is you are meant to pick up or where it is?

The map marks out the terminal. The steps for completing this section are as such:

Find terminal, turn on power, use terminal, unlock core, start core

that is if I recall correctly.

it's an item icon though which is weird.

usually terminals etc you need to access are exclamation marks, it's the diamond with a box in it which means its either a weapon, an item (such as id tags, not scrap items) or a map/blueprint


it doenst matter anymore, I was too freaked out being in the nest so I just continued on, dont know if I can go back to it.

Same here! The map shoes an icon like there's an ID tag or some Item where the activation console is. But there is no Item there! There's the dead dude, i searched him and took everything, but the Item icon remains! Is this a bug?

There are no ID tags in the Nest area. It might be a glitch on the map. 2 tags on this mission are found before you enter the actual reactor area and last one after you complete nest/reactor part of the mission, IIRC.

I don't know what you're talking about but any time you see a CUBE ICON there is always an item there to pick up. I have never seen a CUBE ICON and the item wasn't there. Until now.

There´s nothing, just ignore it and keep on playing.

Chapter 14 does have one secret thing though. If you manage to complete it without dying you get a hidden achievement "Mind Your Step".
