Is there a way to turn lens flares off?

A mod or anything? Like, seriously, these lens flares are absolutely rediculous and they are poorly implemented. So unnecessary, I hate it. Makes me want to punch JJ Abrams in the face for making this ♥♥♥♥ popular. Or did I miss something and we just see the environment through camera lenses in Ripleys face? /sarcasm

not tested by me , but as website:http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Alien:_Isolation#Lens_Flare says the lens_flare.bin files can be renamed to switch this non-eye-effect off . will try that when i figure out how to make walking-speed a litte faster

i edited the lens_flare files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Alien Isolation\DATA in the way that i just added -org in the end of filename (like lens_flare.binorg) and the lensflares (reflections on the multiple surfaces of the lensgroup) are successfully gone .
hm , kind of boring now ,D
