Ladder wont come up when i need to:Exit Apollo Beneath Core

I'm at the Apollo and i have to Exit Apollo Beneath Core but the ladder wont come up.
The the ladder door also stays closed....

Restarted the game still the same problem!

Is this a bug ???

If this is where the explosion takes place - when the alien jumps out at you as a FMV - which is what I have just done, then I was faffing about on the floor and there was a section of ladder on the floor which triggered me to be able to escape up the centre bit.

Assuming this is the same part of the game.

I'm almost at the end of the game ! The part where you are is way way back !

I had the same bug tonight, I dont know what to do.
The ladder looks as if its broken at the top and I cant get it to lift up no matter what. I tried reboots and reloads but nothing worked :(

Coming out of the core you have to walk over the door turn around and wait for the door to open. Thats how it worked for me.

I had to reload the level, I could not find any solution. It worked on the reload fine.

yeah, you have to re-do the level in order for the ladder to work. Atleast that did it for me :)

i have the same problem :( game crashed and when i restarted i stood in front of the broken ladder :( i can not find any solution :(

ok i was lucky i was able to load the savegame right before i went into apollo. so not much time wasted^^
