It was to be expected. Pretty obvious that even though you sent the alien flying in space, developers won't leave you without an alien to fight
I've seen only 2 xenomorphs at once, when I was in the very ending (just before alien takes you into the vents)
Cute.
Secondly it provides context for the Alien being all over Sevastapol station, instead of just going "lol, video games". A little bit of story telling to provide context for gameplay mechanics never goes amiss.
i also had 3 show up in the hive. also the bit at the end where you're in the command room trying to extend the bridge to the torres, I had 3 there aswell.
