An Alien did kill Bishop though in the movie lol.
this is why i was getting annoyed
In fact the novelisation of aliens has it as a point that when Bishop goes to reset the dish to call down thedropship the aliens ignore him
The comic books have also run with this with synths being ignored by aliens except when they pose a direct threat or impede an alien.
Also the previous video games have also run with this with synths not being picked up in alien view in the AVP games so are usually the hardest foes you fight outside of a predator as they can catch you by surprise.
not in this particular place... alien comes quicker than usual
He was supposed to leave it be. If he lured it our he risked the Xeno thinking he was a threat and killing him, or he risked revealing himself. He probably knew the xeno would kill them off eventually so he tried to sit back and wait it out. But Ripley caught on and informed the others.
