Easy vs. Novice?

So completed the game on hard. Now on my 2nd playthrough, I want to explore more.
Novice were introduced along with the now highest difficult Nightmare.

But I havent found anything regardless how novice is compared to easy? Anybody care to explan the difference?

Alien learns slower, gets distracted more easily, basically it's the gamemode if you want to play though as though you are watching a movie almost instead of playing the game. You still get scared of the alien, it will still tear you up if you don't hide, but it's much more forgiving and less aggressive. That and resources and ammo are more plentiful. It's an easier version of easy.
