I prefer and recommend keyboard and mouse ;)
Try a bit of the game with each option, and then use whichever control scheme feels best to you.
Cheers,
But if you're playing while lying in bed/sitting on a couch on a PC+TV setup, a controller might be better.
While there are certain accessories to make KB+M more comfortable for the lazy gamer, it's still uncomfortable to use when relaxing on a couch.
So yeah, KB+M all the way otherwise.
But, because this game doesn't require all that much precision (plus, there is an auto-aim option, if using a controller), you can still go with whatever you feel the most comfortable with, without affecting gameplay too much.
I had a go with the control pad, though, and everything seemed to work just fine - I liked the analogue control of leaning.
Both work excellently, so whichever you're in the mood for.
I used to like vibration, but I turn it off now. It distracts.
