This is what is included in the season pass

Several people have asked what's included in the Season Pass, here it is:

The Season Pass contains the Survivor and Salvage mode DLC packs namely:

Trauma
Corporate Lockdown
The Trigger

These are the survivor mode maps and contain three maps each, the goal is to complete the main task whilst scoring points by completing the bonus objectives and avoiding threats along the way against a timer. They are based around a particular npc from the main game in and around a certain location. e.g Trauma takes place in medical and hospitality environments.

Safe Haven
Lost Contact

These are the salvage mode maps where you begin in a safe area, selecting to leave that area briefly to complete tasks of increasing difficulty. e.g Save the civilian from looters or save the Civilian from Androids. There are ten levels, where you earn points by completing said objective and collecting items. Opt for a higher final score or spend those points on a save because when you die (and you will!), you start back at level one.

It does not include the story based DLC packs below:

Crew Expendable
Last Survivor

These are the lip-service to fans of the Alien movie - they are very short, but still fun. Crew Expendable takes place just after Brett's death, where you can pick Dallas, Parker or Ripley to enter the vents and draw the Alien to the airlock. Last Survivor is the final five minutes of the film where you must set the Auto Destruct and escape in the shuttle.

If you are in any way unsure of the merits of the survivor modes, play a little with the Basement map which is included with the full game to see if it's suits you.

I was about to purchase DLC separately -I own Expendable Crew and Last Survivor-

THANKFULLY I controlled myself and saved a lot of money by purchasing the Season Pass

Me too. I'm not interested in "replayability" i'm here for the story. ♥♥♥♥ the confusing "season pass" but also "these DLC" which may, or may not, be included in said "season pass" shenanigans going on here.

It's worth noting, that the "story" DLC are just rehash's / what if's using set pieces from the first movie. They don't actually build upon the story within the main game.

Damn dude, bought the game and season pass today, but wish i'd forgone the pass and spent the money for it on the story-dlc, can't see myself using the survivor or salvage maps much
