Should run. You may have to play on med or low settings and you shouldn't expect to get screaming FPS - maybe between 25-40. I've seen a video of someone playing on a HD4400 machine, but he had an i5.

Alright, so the best way to know is to just install it and see what happens.

I played it on my HD4000 on my i7 3770 medium settings.

should run the same as the i7. It relys more on your hd 4400 then it does on the cpu

lol good luck even playing it above 30 fps on low settings and stupidly low res like 800x600. and on medium it would be a slideshow.

EDIT: yep about 28 fps on all low and just 1024x768. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-4400.91979.0.html

if you already own the game then why even bother starting the thread when you could have already seen for yourself?

and how bad was your desktop if a laptop with dinky integrated graphics was an upgrade? you should probably just buy a console and not waste any more money on pc games. a PS4 would be like a super computer compared to what you are used to.

First. I have had the game since it came out, I was just dumb enough to not look at the requirements before I bought it and it couldnt be played on my desktop. I have not yet recieved my laptop.

Second, it was not an upgrade, I needed a laptop for school, so I bought this one, and when I noticed that it is an upgrade from my desktop, I started the thread just to see if people knew if it could run BEFORE I spend 6 hours installing a game just to potentially delete it.

Lastly, Just because I dont have a huge pc with amazing specs, doesnt mean its a waste to buy pc games. I dont care about frame rate, as long as it runs and is playable I am ok.

Thanks, I will try it when my laptop comes in. I hope it actually works, even if it isnt perfect and smooth, I wouldnt be wasting my money if I played it.

sub 30 fps is not really playable. put everything on low and use 800x600 and it should be above 30 although it will look like ass.

This just isn't true. It may be true that, if you're used to more, it will feel unplayable. But, it's more an issue of perception. In multiplayer games, what you're saying is much more true, because it puts you at a disadvantage, but in a game like this... getting sub 30fps doesn't make it unplayable. My suggestion is find the settings one is comfortable with and go from there he will determine for himself what is "unplayable." The video I saw made it look very playable on an HD4400. The description stated that he was getting 25-40 FPS at 1280x720 when he wasn't recording. And, he had half the OP has. The OP should have no problem getting the full 1.7 GB out of the 4400.

sorry but sub 30 fps is most certainly not what most would call playable. only people with ♥♥♥♥ comps that have no idea whats its like to properly run a game would consider framerates in the 20s to be playable.

of course it looks playable in a video but thats not the same as playing the actual game where you can control input. I can record sluggish real time gameplay at 25 fps with some stuttering and it will look just fine when seeing a video of that same experience. anyone that has a clue about recording gameplay footage knows that. it would have to like 10-15 fps to look choppy when seen in video playback.

Most. It's not what you would call playable - and that's fine. Nobody is saying you have to call it playable - but it's obviously subjective and a matter of perception.

But, clearly you're right. You've made the "anybody who has, knows or does X" argument, and so must be right. I've never had a crappy lappy and switched to a newer computer. I've never recorded a moment of gameplay. I've never recorded video... ever. So, clearly, I must not know what I'm talking about. It's fantastic that we have such enlightened individuals such as yourself to give us the truth in all things. "Anybody who has, knows or does X" arguments are always truth by their very nature. Well done, you.

30 fps has been considered the very minimum standard for playability for years. a relatively small minority of people thinking different does not change that. and the very fact that you think a video is the same thing as actual gameplay feel shows you dont have a damn clue on the subject. enjoy your sub 30 fps cinematic experience.

Thanks. I'm so glad you're around to set me right. Please write a book on the subject - this knowledge of yours must live on. I mean, if you were to, god forbid, leave us... what would we do? The end of the world as we know it, I think. Thanks again. I will, indeed, enjoy my 30fps experience. Though, I never said I got 30fps in A:I... I thought I was getting between 60 and 90... but, clearly I must be only getting 30fps - you've said so, after all. Thank you for opening my eyes!!

And your having finished, what is essentially, the tutorial on this game surely must give you keen insight into how it performs on low end PCs. Would that we all had such staggering insight. You are a wonder, truly... and I thank the lord for you.

I'm sure your gameplay recording skills have been well lauded. Congrats! I'm completely frozen up... nothing... I can't move at all in the presence of your genius.

Mean while in the forrest.

While the textures and graphics are wonderful the enemies are not supper fast. Meaning the andoids are slow and the Alien is slow until it sees you. Since this is a hide and seek game I think that you very well may be able to play it and have the fog look good still.

The game is very optimized. This person (SheldonAlex) with that GPU RAM : 4 GB DDR3 1600MHz Screen Res : 1024x768 says it looks great and runs smooth.

clearly you have some type of problem that makes you ramble on about useless crap to deflect from the simple argument here. The only thing we really were arguing about was if getting sub 30 frames per second in a game would be considered playable. By most people it most certainly would not.
