I played it on my HD4000 on my i7 3770 medium settings.
EDIT: yep about 28 fps on all low and just 1024x768. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-4400.91979.0.html
if you already own the game then why even bother starting the thread when you could have already seen for yourself?
and how bad was your desktop if a laptop with dinky integrated graphics was an upgrade? you should probably just buy a console and not waste any more money on pc games. a PS4 would be like a super computer compared to what you are used to.
First. I have had the game since it came out, I was just dumb enough to not look at the requirements before I bought it and it couldnt be played on my desktop. I have not yet recieved my laptop.
Second, it was not an upgrade, I needed a laptop for school, so I bought this one, and when I noticed that it is an upgrade from my desktop, I started the thread just to see if people knew if it could run BEFORE I spend 6 hours installing a game just to potentially delete it.
Lastly, Just because I dont have a huge pc with amazing specs, doesnt mean its a waste to buy pc games. I dont care about frame rate, as long as it runs and is playable I am ok.
Thanks, I will try it when my laptop comes in. I hope it actually works, even if it isnt perfect and smooth, I wouldnt be wasting my money if I played it.
of course it looks playable in a video but thats not the same as playing the actual game where you can control input. I can record sluggish real time gameplay at 25 fps with some stuttering and it will look just fine when seeing a video of that same experience. anyone that has a clue about recording gameplay footage knows that. it would have to like 10-15 fps to look choppy when seen in video playback.
But, clearly you're right. You've made the "anybody who has, knows or does X" argument, and so must be right. I've never had a crappy lappy and switched to a newer computer. I've never recorded a moment of gameplay. I've never recorded video... ever. So, clearly, I must not know what I'm talking about. It's fantastic that we have such enlightened individuals such as yourself to give us the truth in all things. "Anybody who has, knows or does X" arguments are always truth by their very nature. Well done, you.
And your having finished, what is essentially, the tutorial on this game surely must give you keen insight into how it performs on low end PCs. Would that we all had such staggering insight. You are a wonder, truly... and I thank the lord for you.
I'm sure your gameplay recording skills have been well lauded. Congrats! I'm completely frozen up... nothing... I can't move at all in the presence of your genius.
While the textures and graphics are wonderful the enemies are not supper fast. Meaning the andoids are slow and the Alien is slow until it sees you. Since this is a hide and seek game I think that you very well may be able to play it and have the fog look good still.
The game is very optimized. This person (SheldonAlex) with that GPU RAM : 4 GB DDR3 1600MHz Screen Res : 1024x768 says it looks great and runs smooth.
