So you've jumped on the terminal. Have you got the code from the mail he's sent, then put in that code (one of the computer tabs will let you input it).
That however is not enough. Once you put the code in, you have to find the program and press the activate button (e) on it. I always had a problem with this, because you never know when the alien is going to drop down and it's not clear exactly what you have to do.
I was just checking, as it isn't clear at that bit exactly what you have to do with the machine.
First time I did it, I found the access code, put the access code in and then thought the job was done.
Wasn't till I went back to the machine and faffed about that I realised I hadn't pressed enough buttons as it were.
But if you've had this, and it's a glitch you can only get through with a reinstall then fair enough. A shame though... I take it you lost all your progress?
Which means, AFTER you run Richardo's program in on 'Shared'. Go back to the Utility folder (on the same computer), and Initiate the Lockdown.
While I appreciate the four-year late response, it actually was a bug and it just wasn't working. I've long since beat the game.
it's not a very well explained mission. i don't know why they set it up like this because it's really confusing.
