There really isn't tbh, They are just snippets of events that happened in the Original movie, At the end of Last survivor is where Ripley escapes and she enters hypersleep.
Alien isolation is slated 15 years afterwards.
Ah right, I haven't played the DLC yet so wasn't aware of what these spoilers might be just wanted to save the OP the risk of having the main game spoiled.
Thanks for the info.
No problem man, I've done the same thing lol.. Started with Crew Expendable, Then on to Last Survivor, And finished up with the Main campaign.
It was quite enjoyable if I gotta be honest and the 2 DLC's are a kind of refresher if you hadn't watched the movie in a while.
...I had the same question.
While playing CE and LS, then the main campaign is the correct chronological order, it is a better gaming experience to play it in that order, saving the main campaign for last?
Or is it a better/smoother gaming experience to play the main campaign and then the DLC (in chronological order once the main game is complete)?
I REALLY wouldn't do that!!!
Play the MainGame first and then all DLC!!!
It would break your game experience of AI :(
Not because of any spoilers in the both DLC that play before AI, but because of the gameplay!
You get things in those DLC that you get later inGame and you see the Alien in a other way!
Damn hard to explain but I would really recommend to play MainGame first and then the rest!!!
Many thanks, I appreciate the feedback: Main campaign first, it is!
But hey, it's your decision :)
I just don't want that someone later thinks: Damn that was a bad choice and broke my experience of the MainGame!
I have searched in the forum search others but this is the best.
I wanted to ask this actually:
I will go main and then CE and LS, but the thing that worries me is: I have several other DLCs but in the main game they dont' show up. Is that normal?
I can't see maybe 3 DLC while I have more. So I suppose these are gonna be "starting" with a sort of question just after I press start to a specific mode\DLC, or instead they should be actually featured in the menu list?
I know I have all installed but they don't show.
I also like to play games sagas (for example I one day will play Star wars in order despite being very long and not a great idea maybe) but maybe in some cases it's just ok to see it as a arcade challenge, as I see and especially interpret many games as a hyper realistic simulation and with this thoughtful immersive approach I maybe exaggerate, but usually it's really worth it.
After all in some cases it's ok to play no as a crhonological order interpreting stuff as a sort of flash back or "what happened before"... however I am really thinking now to start from DLC so to play it as the story.. but I have already started the main story in hardcore so... I think the idea is now gone. Will go for Main story, Crew expandable (which seems just a way to play with another character... but I guess different story will be offered right?) and then Last survivor...
I don't understand why I don't see others though in my menu.
