Radial menu problems

I cant seem to open my radial menu, doesnt matter what key i bind it to it seems. all the other buttons wrk. anyone else got this problem?

I think I got a similar problem. Happens from time to time, after I save the game, that I loose all HUD indicators, except for the health bar (which also sometimes disappear). I cannot use radial menu, although sometimes I can use weapons (but don't see them selected in the HUD). Sometimes alt+tabbing works, otherwise restarting the game fixes things for me.

The hud fades away when not in use. Only your health and battery are shown all the time.

But the radial menu bug, requires a restart.

I have not noticed HUD fading away. But it disappears sometimes right after the save, and even if I pull out weapons it doesn't come back. And by HUD I mean also the health bar - basically all screen indicators. That makes one lean more towards bug, than a feature, don't you think?

This bug has rendered the game unplayable for me. It didn't occur at all until mission 4, now it happens a few minutes into playing.
I'm using a 360 controller, and when this bug strikes, B does not bring up the radial menu, or close. The keyboard bind, Q, also doesn't work. Alt-tabbing or rebinding doesn't work. Unplugging the controller doesn't work.
The worst thing is when I'm using a rewire box and this bug hits, I can't close it. All I can do is stand there until an android eventually finds me and beats me to death.
I don't want to have to play through the game without being able to use tools or rewires.
Has anyone found a workaround?

Edit: I found a solution. It seems this issue occurs if you have a dual monitor setup. I switched to single screen (using Windows-P) and this bug went away.

Crazy how terrible this game is for supporting controller. Restarted game. Nothing. Restarted PC. Worked. If I have to reset my PC every 5 minutes for this to work what is the point of playing a survival horror with save points only ever so often? Holy hell. Saddening beyond belief.

Nimbus controller works with iPad just fine.

Something you could try is installing a tablet emulator, then get the tablet version of Alien Isolation. Identical game, though you can see your feet, and you can lean into windows to get a better view of outside the station.

m+kb gives you more flexibility than a controller, though.

Note that modern video cards support resolutions that will break the UI in a manner similar to what the OP described. Your solution might be to turn down resolution in the game graphic settings.
