Visual Glitch - Hydraulic jack animation doesn't play consistently

This has been an issue since first release and I'm tired of seeing it on every playthrough no matter how many years go by, so I'll finally make a report about it.

When unlocking the hydraulic maintenance jacks/locks (the orange objects that block numerous doors in the first third of the game) the animation of the top rod withdrawing down into the jack before Ripley heaves it out of the way has about a 50% chance to play (though the sound effect always plays), and the rod will already be fully retracted once Ripley's gaze lifts from turning the bolt. It's only a visual glitch, it never stops the jack being removed or the door opening, but it's a little immersion breaking since if you've seen the animation play correctly a few times, it's extremely obvious and jarring when it doesn't. Possibly correlates to how quickly you try and remove the jack, like if you're already holding down the correct buttons before the prompt appears it seems more likely to trigger the glitch, but can't be certain.

On a positive note, I want to say this is literally the only bug I've ever discovered in this game (apart from a section when approaching the reactor plant elevator from the tools workshop where it's possible to get stuck while between some some crates and the wall with a lamp at knee level, but it's not necessary to go back there, it's out of the main path and there's no loot nearby and a save station pretty close by, so it's hardly an issue) so if they can just fix this then I'll never have my immersion broken ever again and the game will be completely perfect! :D

I just finished the last of the achievements today and completed the game on Nightmare mode. Fantastic game, love it, excellent job by all involved! The sound effects in particular are incredible, hats off to the sound design team! ^-^
