Does the Alien remember your actions pre loading a save?
Just died and lost some progress, so when i loaded in, i decided to have some fun and shot my gun a few times to see if the Alien would drop in where i was, or if it was locked to where i died previously. Naturally, Alien showed up and killed me.

So i'm loading the same save-file again, from before the Alien killed me, Would it's A.I. remember me firing those shots into the air from before the Load? Or does it's memory get reset to the appropriate point every time you load a save?

I dont exactly understand your question. But in my playthrough, I did manage to save my game while being chased by the alien. After saving is done, he killed me from behind. So, I loaded my game and the alien wasn't there anymore.

I was really hoping i wouldn't need to make this comparison, but basically i'm asking if the Alien is like Sans from Undertale, who remembers your actions when you load a previous save, or "reset". So if he kills you, and then you load your save to try and fight him again, he remembers killing you in that previous attempt, alongside all the actions you took to get to that point.
