Update and add NG+ to promote AI2!
This game is made for NG+. It's in the level design not to mention most high tier upgrade blueprints cant be obtained till mission 14, by then whats the point in backtracking, games almost over. Plus C.A. stated back than they didn't have time to implement it.

Throw a light coat of paint on, bump up effects details w/ fog and lighting ect..

Most of the highest tier blueprints are a downgrade as far as I'm concerned. Adding a speaker to lure the alien to my floor-placed pipe bomb or Molotov just guarantees that the alien is going to trigger it. That gains me nothing, you can't kill the alien. If I place a pipe bomb or a Molotov on the floor, it's to protect my rear or flank, when I'm doing something else, like going into a computer, and I don't want the Alien getting me when I'm more exposed. Ideally, I want the Alien to not come to my pipe bomb/Molotov, so that I can pick it up again if it wasn't needed to protect my rear/flank as the alien never came.
What they really should do is fix the bugs that happen when playing in 4k and higher res, and over 99 fps. And fix the remaining bugs like the hovering lights from the transit, and the floating weapons bug.

Hell just release a remaster with updated textures in a whole package and i will throw my wallet at them.
I always kinda liked the floating weapons bug, dont see it too often, but seeing the 3d model of the bolt gun is pretty cool. I dont know the other sruff, i play everything at 60fps and 1440p
I know people might not agree with me. But I think it would be cool if we could make custom stories or custom challenge maps. Just a thought

NG+ wouldn't work. Giving you something like the ion torch early on would break various scripts in the game. You'd open doors to black area and fall through the world because those scenes beyond those doors won''t load. How do I know this? There's a trainer that gives you everything at the start of the game, and it can horribly break things.

About the only thing they could do, that wouldn't take a lot of time to recode the game, would be to carry all known blueprints to a NG+

Apparently someone made a NG+ mod for AI. It probably breaks the game. The thing that kinda makes me laugh at it is that he says the game needed NG+. In my opinion it doesn't need it. The guy just wanted it

More than one alien is the only thing that really counts.
And you have a flamethrower with all the limits that implies: you can't hose more than two if you don't hear what's behind you; bringing the point across that 'godzilla stomping noise' should not be a part of the alien that is capable of sneaking up on a fully-loaded predator.

i recently replayed the game in VR, and i saw the floating weapons bug quite often, i would even say, once every play session at least once. It's not a big deal but it kinda kills the immersion lol
