Gas Torch Android (really game?)

So i'm trying to restore the transit controls and i kill the guy and stuff, so i gotta go in the ele-nope broken. I need a gas torch... Except the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ android is following me and i can't (well idk how to kill him) and the gas torch takes FOREVER so hiding and sneaking wont help. What do i do?

Do you have any weapons left except your wrench and what difficulty level are you in?

I completed that part once in Nightmare difficulty without other tools except one flare that I threw at back of the transit station, then I cut the panel and got out before the android got me. It was a close call though. :)

I have i think one of everything. I'd rather not spoil myself on how, if possible, i can kill it, buti really have no idea on any other options. I think the game wants me to use a flash bang but that's a distraction, and i doubt it'd last the 10-15 seconds i'd need to get the torch AND open the gas torch thingy. Also, hard mode.

2/2. And hitting him just used the same animation as the wrench... Unless i used it wrong... Which i suppose i may have.

Don´t worry about using the items in hard mode, there is plenty of loot around later on.

Pipe bomb will kill it with one hit, shock baton + wrench, emp + wrench. Androids don´t care much about the flashbangs, those are for humans mostly. You could also try to set off smoke bomb at the area where you are cutting the panel, it might stop the android from seeing you until it´s too late for him to attack you.

Stun baton has to be reloaded! Many people forget that. :)

Oh ok. Thanks. I'll do baton and wrench. That said, it is annoying how it as good as MAKES you fight the android...
