This game can be run on older consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3, so fairly weak PC can play it. You just need to drop the settings and resolution. You can safely try it now, since Steam has refunds if you can´t play the game (14 days and less than 2 hours played).

I am buying it then

um a gt 520 is pure garbage for gaming. its slower than modern integrated graphics. luckily this game is not very demanding on lower settings so it will play with the right settings and res.

there are plenty of games that are on the old consoles but take a decent pc to play. a pc version of a game is not always the exact same build plus its common sense that they can optimize the crap out of the console versions. the console's gpu is slower than an 8600 gt but there are games that wont play well on equivalent settings on the pc using a gpu well over twice as fast.

luckily as I just mentioned though this game is not demanding on low settings and even his super slow gpu can handle low settings at 1280x720.

personally I would not even bother with pc gaming on such a crap gpu as even the 360/ps3 can provide a better gaming experience with better graphics which is beyond sad.

Here someone is running the game with GTX 610, which is a rebranded 520 with 2gb of memory (IIRC): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7Kf_Ox3ZbQ

that looks very slow even for a video which means actually gameplay in real time would be terrible. if he lowered the settings then he could maintain 30 fps though.

EDIT: the guy says "Ryse Son of Rome and Evil Within Very soon"

lol that is not happening on a gt 610.

and why even bother posting that if you are not going to list your freaking specs?
Specs please!

Well, Thank you for that great welcome Trek 554 ! I can see you're a seasoned Gaming Ambassador. Your Avatar explains so much... But I'm afraid You need a little attitude adjusting sonny.

Hi Nomine, ;-) I couldn't be bothered to post my specs last night as I was tired and real pissed at the game not running in any shape or form, and gave it up before I punched my monitor, LOL. Im running a Packard Bell IMEDIA D2315 AIO. Windows Home Vista 32 bit machine with an Intel Pentium Dual core E2180 CPU running at 2 GigaHertz. (2 Logical processors) Total Disk size 220 Gig, but most of that used I'm afraid. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD5450. Not the greatest spec I'm afraid as it was a 'Middle of the road All rounder' PC when I bought it new some time ago. But even with many details turned down or off, still the black screen of death. The Intro screens such use as they are run beautifully, LOL. Prior to last night I was running season One of The walking dead, and it was fine without any alterations to anything, I just wish some of the devs wouldnt assume a professional level of Gaming PC and allow the game to tailor itself automatically to the spec it finds. Nice to meet you BTW.

Nomine, Depending on what you, or anyone else may say, I may gift this game back to the friend who gave it me (via a Twitch TV stream 'Raffle' win). If I cant get any use of it. According to Steam, I've been 'Playing' it for over an hour LOL. But alas, I've only had that black screen. I also see now I really need to buy a portable Hard drive for the pictures stored on my PC too. (only 20 gig, but enuff to need to move them) Cheers.
