Steam version vs. Microsoft Store version?
Can anyone explain what the differences are between the Steam version 1.07.2015 and the Microsoft Store version 1.0.34.0? I've heard the Microsoft Store version is 64-bit. Is that true? It's bothering me that I can't find anything official written about the differences between the versions. Epic has also released their own version recently. Is the only difference that they've been patched to run on different platforms?

Thanks. Basically this means, if you already have the Steam version, there's no need to re-buy the Microsoft Store version, right? I thought they might have added new features or improved performance since it's a different version number.

The different version number is most likely due to the slight changes to be made to link it to a Microsoft account rather than a STEAM account. Generally if the choice is between owning a game on STEAM or the Microsoft store then just get it on STEAM. STEAM's the best platform with all the features.
