The alien kills a cat in Mission 2?
Several have noticed some cat (probably Hughes's) meowing in Mission 2 but there seems to have been an alien there as well (not shown but can be heard). So, did the alien kill the cat or maybe the cat got away?

WHAT.... now im calling the pest control ..that Bug needs to be put down... i love cats ...how dare the alien kill a cat

Yeah I love cats too. I can tolerate the killing of humans but this is going too far.

So far I have checked all smaller sound files up to 400 kb, but did not find any meow.
Does anyone know wether Jones was part of the credits in Alien ? He did a terrible good job.

I wonder if a Facehugger could impregnate small animals like cats; it's not like dogs are much bigger. We could get a cat alien..

I've personally never heard the cat, however I have heard strange noises from the radios and even people calling for help behind locked doors. The best part about this game is that everytime you play it you seem to find something new.

Yeah there's one in Mission 3, if you take a transit to the Habitation Tower and go to the marshal bureau, the door there is locked but you can hear a woman behind the door talking. (There's a big group of survivors nearby so watch out for them.)
(You can also take a transit to Engineering to see the reactor from the control room. It looks pretty eery. Just be prepared to meet a bunch of survivors when you get back to the transit station.)
