Yeah, i'm pretty sure unless i'm thinking of another site that tracks steam game prices. I'm sure there's more than one site to do it so it's possible.
Code EGL gets you 5% off.
But very short and lacks replayability, right? That's what I've gotten from reviews and stuff. |:
I must have read different reviews. If anything, the game is too long.
It depends how quickly you play. If you use stealth and hide a lot (which you really have to) then you're looking at around 20 hours (maybe more if you're really bad at it lol).
I've played for around 45 hours and am just about to start a fresh new game and play again. It's so good that it never gets boring. The AI (alien, androids and human enemies) are all unscripted except for a very tiny few parts, so different encounters will happen every time.
The difference is that the Alien is way more unpredictable but it feel more realistic - The Alien no longer feels like it is in a 100 meter tether but takes breaks, goes after other sounds, but once it knows you are there (flashlight, combat, or noise) it really comes after you.
But since the Flash Bang, Stun Gun, and Smoke Grenads work against the Alien it means you can resist it a little (about 6-10 seconds) to make a break and get away from it.
All in all a lot more fun. I think you should get the game and play it Vanilla to get a feel for how the developers wanted it to be experience. Then go grab those mods and get a much more dynamic feel to the game. This will be my 2nd play through (I love scary games in October) and it's a blast.
Hope on in - the water's great.
