This button spamming can lead to tricky situations if you are running away from an enemy and things don't work out the way you thought they would. But there would be some alternates...
If you're not too keen on using third-party software, you could see if you can use software that lets you create shortcuts. For example, you could put the two keys for aiming and shooting on one key and only have to press two at the same time - which should work if you consider combos with Shift Ctrl etc.
Logitech used to do this, for example, but there's also software that was created just for this kind of thing and maybe something is already included in Windows 11.
Another option would be to plug-in a second keyboard. (usb/bt)
howdy! i've already experimented a little with using an AutoHotKey script for this, but after some tinkering it seems like i can get the maintenance jack locks opened fairly consistently now that i've figured it out, but i'll definitely keep messing around with other third-party options if this winds up not working out for me :')
i'd love to get another keyboard for this, unfortunately i am not in the best financial situation but i AM waiting to hear back from an interview so maybe if i land the job i can actually look into it lol
ty for replying! appreciated :]
