Yea but that doesn't require any additional input.
I thought the message was something like "Hold Lt while using Motion Detector to focus", or something.
I assumed it would hold it up to my face closer or something, but nothing is happening. Google didn't help much.
The tracker is already off to my left and I can see the screen fine, and Lt does nothing. It doesn't move at all.
I am using 55 fov, as it's the wildest you can go before her body disappears.
Could that be a feature meant for minimum fov? I don't know why else it would not be working but thanks for reply.
Typically, it flips the DOF blur between your environment and the motion tracker.
Thats it! Thanks.
I have DoF turned off, so that likely explains it.
I never use it, but I'll give it a shot on this game to see. Maybe I'll turn film grain on too, for the 1979 vibes.
You'll laugh, but this very "Navpoint" is a topic here in the forum over and over and over again, precisely because people completely overlook it.
I always understood the layout of the motion tracker, but I didn't remember this one prompt from my first playthrough. Would have never sorted out that it was related to DoF, which I always turn off lol.
I am surprised I didn't see it sooner, because it's just hitting the right mouse button to switch the blur. I don't hold the tracker out too long, so maybe that's why.
Oh well. I got the sense of what it feels like, and i still prefer DoF off anyway.
