i coudl hug you if that mod works...
You can use the pcsx2 emulator, if the game was on ps2.
But remember that to play it on the emulator, you need the original copy for it to be legal.
Need to google and research your emulators, and official home pages for them.
There are also source code development projects which continues those emulators on other sites, with new versions, but they have new features usually, stable or not, and can be good to try out. Some features could be directx 11 if the emulator is old and wasn't updated to handle new video cards, as well as other new graphical features and other enhancements for controllers and other things you can add. But just rememember to keep checking the official home pages of the emulators and their download pages as well, to see if they were updated.
Also some emulators like pcsx2 and jpcsp are constantly updated every day with new build revisions, keep in mind these are not official version, but sometimes you have to use the latest revisions to have the best results, frame rates or other bugs might be fixed in a revision, performance and graphics can get better with revisions.
The dolphin emulator was being updated up to version 4.0, but that's been a year ago. Works well in some cases for both gamecube and wii games.
Epsxe was updated at the end of last year, download version 1.9.1 or later. It's for the playstation 1, where you can play castlevania symphony of the night.
I won't be giving out game links though, that you have to find on your own.
As it is legal and free to have an emulator since they were made by others, but the games however, you have to own them already as I explained above, and you can then download a copy of the game as a backup, just in case your original cd has scratches or other issues.
If you get epsxe for symphony of the night, use plugins that you can find and download online for epsxe graphics, set the graphics to max in those plugin's video options located within the emulator settings, and you will see a really nice castlevania symphony of the night without pixelation, without the aliasing around characters and objects.
Same for many other games, set the graphics settings to max in the emulator for those games, by using plugins you can find for the emulator and then going to the emulator's video settings to find those plugins and set the graphical settings to max in the plugin's options.
nah i'd rather have a full blown RTS again, extinction showed that RTS can be diverse. NS is good but i don't think it would suit AVP.
your poitn being what exactly?
Alien aliens and alien 3 are all great movies, and AVP exctinction was actuall a pretty good game, why does everythign to do with ALIEN have to be a horror, seriously its surprisingly the perfect IP to apply to a strategy game.
Anyway, I didn't know there was a avp rts. It would be pretty cool, but I imagine it would share a lot with Starcraft in a 3-player match where each player plays a different race and the zerg and protoss have more stealth options.
actually no played nothing at all like starcraft, it basically didn't have bases, marines relied on drop-points on the map, aliens on the other two sides for hosts and preds protected their shrine to summon more troops. highly mobile armies.
