I'm still amazed how well optimized this game is.
Seriously, what sorcery and magic did they use to optimize this game? I'm on an i5 10400, 3060 Ti, and 16 of RAM. I've played this game on my old PC with an i5 6400 and RTX 3070 Ti and 16 GB of RAM as well. Despite the massive difference between CPUs ,and slight difference between GPUs, the game ALWAYS manages to run at a consistent 100 FPS (it can go higher but I cap it there to prevent high FPS bugs). There are so few games that EVER maintain a consistent FPS for that long, and that rarely have FPS drops. And it's not like the graphics are cheap. I'm well aware some of the more demanding stuff isn't in this game, which may be the reason why it's so well optimized.

I only wish devs these days put in half as much effort as the ones for this game did. Quite frankly, I'm not even sure the game uses the GPU all that much. The temps are solid at around 60 C and the GPU usage doesn't even break 55%. For all intents and purposes, it seems like the game doesn't even have to push the card to run it well. And I've got the Alias Isolation and Enhanced Graphics mod running as well. So shadows are at 4K and LOD is maxed out.

It's insane. I'm replaying this on a fairly powerful gaming laptop (i9 13980HX, 32gb ram, RTX 4080) and it runs at a consistent 240fps at 1600p at max settings, even with some graphical enhancement mods.

The high FPS is nice, although from my understanding, any FPS above 100 tends to break the sound in death sequences involving androids and/or the Alien. But I like how it's consistently high and rarely ever drops (save for the very rage bug that causes the GPU to downclock, causing FPS to drop to 30, but I've had that happen only once on my new PC and old one).
I am currently going doing another play through myself. The first time I played the game I had a 1080 and it ran great. My system has been heavily upgraded and honestly aside from my way better monitor the game looks just as good as it did.
Excellent performance with this game.

no reason to run this game above 60 fps whats the point ? its not a fact paced action game so it doesnt need a beefy hardware to run decent.

Not many dynamic shadows probably helps. Most are just textures that represent shadows but aren't real.

This just came to my attention, no death sounds especially from the Xenomorph. I got it capped at 144 so I'll try it at 100
