Tutorial Doors bugged all locked.
So my brother bought me this game a while back as I am a big Alien fan.

I decided to eventually play it today.

First mission I went got dressed and spoke to some guy. Went to find the other person and all the doors were locked. Spent a good while trying to work it out before realising it was bugged.

Restarted game.

Same things happened.

Turned game off. 0/10 would not play again.

Your loss. The bug is extremely common. Just restart and don't get dressed until after you haven spoken to everyone.

I didn't have any issue for that. May just be in the tutorial.

Start game, sign in computer, get dressed, talk to Samuels, talk to Taylor, go to bridge, collect papers to fire the cut scene.

When this game went on sale and I saw lots of people complaining of this bug I restarted the game 20 or 30 times in one day trying to make this bug happen and I NEVER saw it.

I think people must be doing things in the wrong order to make this bug show up.

The "correct" order screws it up.

I have never been able to see this bug when I do it in the order I mention above.

Wake up, sign in, get dressed, talk to Samuels, talk to Taylor, go to bridge, collect papers.

Well thanks for filling me in on how this issue I'm having doesn't effect you. Really helpful. Definitely made me feel better about not being able to progress past the very first mission.

Try going full psycho and talk to both Samuels and Taylor without putting clothes on first.

I think this problem may be caused by certain pieces of hardware, or something weird like vertical sync switched on when it should be off, or off when it should be on. It's odd that I have played that sequence 20 times to try to re-create that bug (plus 6 times from 6 playthroughs) and have never been able to see it.

I've never seen the re-wiring bug either, where the re-wire boxes get stuck and you can't continue.

I'm sorry you've misinterpreted me but I'm trying to help you (and others) by trying to pinpoint what causes this bug.

I dunno... the game never bugged out for me. I did it by first talking to Taylor, I did it by talking to Samuels first, Every time I dressed up frist since I wasn't comfortable walking around in underwear. But the game never bugged. I don't know how common that is. But I'm certain that it doesn't matter who are you talking first. But dress up first. Nobody in the right mind would walk around naked. I also took a shower every time. just for the sake of RP

And what is the reassurance that I wont get to some other point in the game where the order I dress, or talk to things wont prevent me having to restart stuff? I already see people referencing other bugs in this thread.

Its a shame, but its no loss, I have plenty of other games to play.

Actually, it's disappointing is what it is. I restarted it several times already and it didn't help.
