Crew Expendable Save points

I'm aware that Crew Expendable does not have manual save points like in Isolation and only autosaves after certain points in the game. However, I am getting frustrated as I want to play Crew Expendable over a few days, I don't want to complete it all in one go. Last place I left off was in the vents and I died, but my progress saved. I then proceeded to exit the game. I guess what I'm trying to say is, is it possible to complete the game in chunks rather than all at once? I know Crew expendable only takes about 20 minutes all in one sitting but I like to space things out.

The auto-saves will be lost if you quit the game or quit to the main menu, also if the game crashes of course. So spreading it out over a few days probably isn't worth the extra electricity of leaving your game running all that time.
