Also, for those of you on a Linux OS, I made a short BASH script to backup your savegame whenever a new save is performed. You can go back to any section you like, provided you know WHEN that save was performed.
Right-click and save-as, or copy-paste the clicked window into a text file and make executable, whichever you prefer.

I found it only works when run from a terminal. I have a folder in my Home folder called 'myscripts', where I place all my scripts I find or write, but you could just as easily put it in your $PATH or /usr/local/bin.
