Can't open a door with maintenance jack
I'm playing this game on Linux and I have an AMD graphics card. But I don't think this is part of the problem.

I have found Zack Watons dead body and just got the maintenance jack. Now I try to open the door with it, I'm pressing and holding both mouse buttons and nothing happens. I'm really freaking out as I can't continue the game. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug?

Dude, didn't you get a reply to this already in another post? Use the (A) key I think he said. I haven't played in a while so, I don't remember.

I have done that, nothing happens.... I've seen Let's Plays of that scene on YouTube, it always said pressing A/left after they pressed both mouse buttons. The game doesn't seem to notice I'm pressing both mouse buttons.

I tried to get past this scene using a gamepad. While I could remove the big red lock, the door still won't open. It still says "Door is locked". I think this is a bug.

Could be a bug then. Try restarting that area and see if it works.

I was playing it right now and it told me to press RMB --> LMB after that A button and it worked.Your game probably got bugged if that didn't work or you're missing out a little detail.

Are you on Windows?

Try verifying your game files on Steam to see if something is screwed up.

I tried that. Still can't get any further. There were at least two other users on this forum that seemed to have the same problem. I think both of them were on Linux.

You have to keep right and left mouse button held when the a button prompts, then press that, so you have three held for the animation to work.
