Says so during the loading screens.
AKA if you 'role play' her, yes, you would be disgusted by killing others. Just think about how she reacted when Axel killed that guy, she was totally shocked.
I played like that and it was great - makes the game more difficult though in some passages.
Yeah the first time I played through it, I acted as I thought Amanda would act. Every other time though, I killed everyone even if I didn't have to. Why? Because I COULD.
Well, I did, once, but it was an accident.

If I was on that station I'd be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glad to see some of the other crew men and women on the station, talk to them, mayby get some infos about possible places I could go or what I should avoid at all costs and then move on trying to flip the station upside down for food and water and a safe place to rest (because the alien is still around ya know), and also try really hard to re-enable communications and make sure that there is actually help coming.
Though im pretty sure that even realistically, everyone would have died anyways because Apollo wouldnt allow any transmissions to be sent. All the scavanging for food and water would be useless at one point as there are no new supplies coming, so eventually you would run out of everything, and it would get so dire that you might actually just shoot yourself rather than others for a bit of food that is only going to let you live for another day, if you even survive that long with the xeno onboard.
True true. In real life I doubt the people would be as hostile to one another as they are. It's easy to roleplay the hostility though.
That guy Sinclair(sp) assembled his own little army of thugs when things went to hell on the station. Did you hear his recordings? "Take whatever you want from whoever you can, there's no room for pity". That means Sinclair sent his goons out to kill people and steal supplies for their hideout, and I believe they also killed anybody who went near their hideout - they wouldn't let anybody else in except their own group.
Then there are the marshals (most of whom are dead by the time Ripley arrives on Sevastopol) who got a little trigger happy when law and order broke down.
Then there's Sevastopol's own police force, who are separate from the marshals, who also got a little trigger happy when law and order broke down.
Everybody's terrified, hungry, and half of them who are still alive have probably lost their mind/nerves by this point.
Was in the hospital part once. The alien left the hallway and i stood up from my hiding spot to walk further. Suddenly i hear a gunshot release and hit me in the back. Did just remove a little health. But then the alien jumped down just besides me. But instead of attacking me, it went around me streight to the idiot that shot me in the back. Well deserved. While that i went back to hide, could hear a female crying silently further away. Later on i could hear more screams and i took the chance to walk further.
