Space suit breathing

I need help!
After getting out of the space suit at the beginning of chapter 2, my game bugged out by keeping the sound effects for the suit. The game is near unplayable with the constant breathing going on. Does anyone know how to fix this??

load mission save? Replay mission one quickly (you can run through it fast)?

Well, then you will do a Steam Cache check next.

This happened to me before, i know how annoying it is. Sometimes my camera gets shake effect which is glitched its not just stopping at all, and you hear those sounds like something is burning near you and its very loud. However i wasn't even close to fire, had to reload the game. So the only solution is - restart the game and continue your tour.

This thread is almost 7 1/2 years old, but I still had the same problem. After I finished the mission, the sound was back to normal.
