It's entirely possible that it will - Isolation was always very well optimised. Just buy it, lower the graphics settings and see if you can get a decent framerate (you don't want frames to go above 60 as it causes game breaking bugs). If not, refund. I'd say you have a pretty decent chance with those specs but it's not guaranteed, so make sure you don't go over the 2-hour refund window until you know for sure.
Is your laptop on Windows 11? I've noticed a lot of people being unable to run it on low-spec laptops with Windows 11 and I suspect W11 might have something to do with it, so if you're on W11 it might be more of a coin flip whether it'll run or not, but it still might so still worth trying.
Dunno, a lot of people were asking the same thing but I don't think anybody ever came to a concrete answer. Probably SEGA just trying to make more money. They always did struggle as a publisher, basically just managing to break even most of the time. It does go on sale very often though and it's definitely worth the money if you're an Alien fan. You'll get a good 20 hours out of the main game and the scavenger DLC missions are lots of fun.
I'm a little biased because I've loved the Alien films (or the first three, at least) since I first watched them as a kid, but I'd say it's the best horror game ever made. They did such a good job that even without the alien it would be terrifying to explore Sevastopol just because of the sounds, the lighting and the atmosphere.
Aliens Fireteam was released... New related product sparked interest in the franchise... and Sega being Sega wont ignore that lol
