key bindings for mouse and keyboard?

My game doesn't have any list of key bindings. It only shows game controller controls. I'm using a mouse and keyboard.

I've pushed every key on my keyboard, but all I can find are crouch, and the direction keys, and of course the E key for actions. None of the other keys do anything.

i have no other controls for the game. i have no way to use anything I've picked up. I have no flashlight, I have no lean, I have nothing.

Is there a way around this?

Flashlight is R if I remember, and you hold down R to reload the batteries in it. Lean I believe is left control. Space brings out the motion tracker (if you got far enough to pick it up yet).

R brought up a flare, not a flashlight.

No, there is No controls section for mouse and keyboard in the Options menu, just the controls for a controller.

Flashlight won't work until someone gives you a headset; you haven't gotten that far in the story.

I'm thinking this is also caused by FPS over 60, so it's not worth troubleshooting until the FPS is checked.

Could also try using the Steam client to verify files.

Files are verified.

I don't know how to set my FPS. It's never been an issue for me before.

SORRY -- I was able to find this under my Nvidia settings.

I can't get it to 60 fps. I can get 58 or 62 but the slider will not let me select 60. Will 62 be okay?

Go with 58. The issue is that too much FPS breaks scripts, and 60 is the threshold.

I just started the game and also play with mouse/keyboard. Under game options, I see the key bindings under the "Input Settings" option.

Yeah has xpo38 said its under input mapping which is a bit weird but Tab is map, q is inventory, f is flash light and ctrl is lean.

Yes there is a key binding section off of the main menu. Under settings I believe. Might be something labeled "input" something or other. I don't have the game open at the moment. Also someone had passed on to me another valuable piece of info.

You can set the number keys "6" - "0" with the craftable items you get. When you open up your crafting tab. Default is "Q" as far as I know. Then move your mouse over to whatever item you want to bind to a key. For instance the noisemaker. When you mouse is over top of it then press "6" or whatever number you want to use for it. However only thing I noted was after you update these keys I do believe you have to save afterwards. If you revert to a previous save file before you set the bindings they are reverted.
